Session Description - Building Facebook apps with ColdFusion
Facebook has become an important platform for businesses and other organizations to connect
with their customers or community. A facebook app is really not a lot more complicated than
the basic CRUD applications that are the bread and butter of a Coldfusion developer. However
if you dive into the Facebook documentation you will never find an example written in
Coldfusion. Facebook is written in PHP and most examples use PHP. Luckily there is a pretty
good library, the Facebook Coldfusion SDK, that makes integration with Facebook quite easy
and fun. I will present an overview of creating apps in Facebook using Coldfusion and
demonstrate some of the apps I've created along the way.

Session Description - Intro to jQuery Mobile - Sean Ryan
Sean is a software developer with Troy Web Consulting where he works under the direction of Jon
Briccetti building primarily ColdFusion applications, Java applications, and plenty of hybrids. As
more of a server-side guru he's always looking for ways to make his inevitably necessary work on
the client side simple, uniform, and solid - all without leaving the user with the impression that a
programmer wrote it. The various JQuery libraries, including JQuery Mobile are close friends of his
and he'll show us how JQuery Mobile can streamline the delivery of information on hand-help devices
through a simple interface with a little help from HTML 5. Follow him on twitter @ryansd92 for
ColdFusion and other techy fun facts. Sean will be available after the presentation for a meet and
greet where he'll humbly sign autographs.
